My friend Becky is conducting a really cool cartography project over at mapyourmemories.com. This sound map of Harvard Square, Cambridge is a contribution to the project that I created with the help of another friend who happens to be an ace computer programmer. Turn on your speakers and click between regions of the map to travel between the different soundscapes (try comparing the river to the T station, for example, or the northeast to the yard):
In other news, I’m lining up a string of solo shows in some pretty exciting locations around the northeast for January and February of 2012. Come out to one of these if you can! For details, head over to the performances page of this site (updated as gigs are confirmed).
